UTAK's 100% Real Whole Blood is collected in FDA-licensed facilities within the United States from healthy adult donors. As part of our donor qualification process, specimens are screened and confirmed negative for common drugs of abuse and alcohol. Residual analyte concentrations are not characterized or certified for diagnostic use. This material uses Potassium Oxalate as an anticoagulant and Sodium Fluoride as a preservative, and is suitable for use as a raw material component in the preparation of standards, controls, and calibrators, and for general laboratory applications including method development and validation. Commonly used in workflows involving LCMS, LC-MS/MS, GCMS, Time of Flight (TOF), ELISA, EMIT, and other immunoassays. Users must qualify and validate this material for their specific application and instrumentation prior to use. Not for diagnostic use or direct administration to humans.
